An Account of a Race of human Beings with Tails by E. W. Cole
- The writer mentions the “discovery” of a “strange nation or community”, he also mentions issues about “evolution". What do you think about it? Explore the story showing how the Europeans feelings toward “the Other” are revealed.
- What’s the name of the people belonging to this community? What does it mean?
- Analyse the importance of the tail for the Elocweans: shape and length, decoration, uses, etc. What can you infer from this?
